The Ascent Restaurant, located in an unbeatable location a few meters from the Cathedral of Barcelona, will start from the 7th to the 17th of March the IV Gastronomic Days of the Duck that have always enjoyed a great acceptance among its guests.
In this superb annual event, the menu has been meticulously prepared in detail by our French chef Reanan Mahe, making the duck the star product in all dishes. The menu of 37€ per person, consists of some starters to share where you can taste for example an excellent Duck carpaccio with papaya in two textures and pistachio cracker, followed by the main dishes to choose between duck cooked at low temperature in calvados, apple kataifi, hazelnuts and foie or grilled magret, kumquat confit with vanilla and potato mochi. The last but not least, the dessert of tangerine and white chocolate creamy with black chocolate sponge cake. All this, accompanied by an exquisite pairing wines such as Garbó red wine - DO Montsant.
In addition, we have a surprise for the first reservations we receive for the Gastronomic Days of the Duck, being presented with a mini case of Foie gras Malvasia mousse.
