From this Thursday, June 6 until the end of summer, the Ascent restaurant offers us the II Tapas and rices Gastronomic Days.
The menu of the days is composed in the first place, by author tapas, made with avant-garde techniques such as toast of Iberian ham and goat cheese from the Pyrenees, croquettes of brie de Meaux and truffle, tuna tartar and avocado with 'salmorejo' and sesame tile or potato and mushroom churros.
Secondly, we find the specialties of the house, the rice, one of which participates in the Best Rice Competition 2019. In this way, we have selected the most outstanding rice dishes of our menu for these days, such as squid black rice and red shrimp; traditional seafood paella; salted rice of monkfish, squid and mussels; muffin rice from Perol sausage, octopus and pumpkin or crispy suckling pig rice, soft boletus and quince aioli (a dish that participates in the Best Rices 2019 contest). Finally, for desserts, you can choose one of the desserts such as the black chocolate mousse with pistachio crumble and raspberries.
In addition, the menu offers the possibility of pairing your dishes with a Cava Freixenet Elyssia Rosé D.O. Cava, white wine Cop de Vent D.O. Empordà or red wine Orube D.O.Ca Rioja.
